I was in a wine shop the other day buying a Cote du Ventoux & the clerk said "this is pretty good for a blend". Like blends are sub par. Some of the best wines in the world are blends.<BR/><BR/>People just like varietals, I guess.<BR/><BR/>I think maybe the general public, here has some misconceptions about varietal wines. I mean, it seems like most have a little something else mixed in ayways.
